I was extremely pleased with Victor's skills as a guide. When I compared my visit to others I was amazed at how much I saw compared to them. Victor knew the highlights around town as well as the best places off the beaten path. The money he saved me getting local prices, taking the amazing subway and eating at local places more that paid for his services as a guide. He proved a good guide to local Russian nightlife as well. I would recommend him highly.

I would like to write a letter of recommendation for Victor as an excellent guide for individuals travelling to Russia. For me, this was my first trip to the country. I didn't speak the language, and I wasn't that familiar with the culture.

Victor needed to guide me, educate me, entertain me, and keep me safe all at the same time. This is not an easy job, but Victor did a wonderful job at it.

On the cultural and educational side, Victor made sure I did all the essential things in Moscow, including tours of the Kremlin, city wide boat tours, and authentic Russian cuisine.

On the entertainment side, Victor made sure that I had a taste of all the high points of gay life. We went to 3 Monkeys, Propaganda on Sunday, Chance Disco, the Russian Saunas, and even a taste of agency work. Victor was able to provide expertise in all of these settings.

Finally, and probably most important, on the daily living side, Victor made sure that I was comfortable, safe, and oriented. He helped with translation, getting me to and from places, took me shopping, and arranged for anything that I needed to get done. He was also very concerned that my experience was complete. I had a problem with my camera, so Victor presented me with a CD with pictures of all the places we had seen on the day before I left.

Victor's strong points are that he has great stamina, that he puts the client's safety first and foremost, and that he has an extensive knowledge of many different aspects of Russian life. You won't go wrong with Victor as your guide.

Victor proved to be a wonderful host. He is a kind and fun loving man that knows his home land well. I felt completely safe in his company. He met me at my hotel when I arrived and welcomed me to Moscow, where we had our first planning session deciding what I would like to see and do while I was there. After that, he met me at the hotel every day as agreed and I never had to worry about anything. He was in control of my vacation and all I had to do was follow along and enjoy it. His services are truly a bargain, and well worth the money. I had a blast and will use him again when I return to Russia in May 2006.

I wish you well and miss you already.

I had just completed a Russian River cruise, and I asked Viktor to arrange a tour that would explore parts of the beautiful and exciting city of Moscow not presented on the River tour. I found Viktor to be charming intelligent, helpful and 100% reliable. He made the four days that I spent with him fun and exciting. I really got in depth look at Moscow that I never would have experienced if I had ended my visit to Russia at the end of the cruise. I informed Viktor that I wanted to experience some gay life in Moscow, and he had the resources to make it all happen. He would meet me in my hotel lobby at midnight to take me to gay clubs where the action is just getting started around 0200, and then meet me the next morning in the hotel lobby for more sight seeing with a smile on his face! Viktor is everything I could have asked for in a tour guide, and I look forward to the day when I may return to Russia and hire Viktor again!

"I visited Moscow for only a few days, but found my day with Victor was easily the highlight. He tailored our day to meet my request exactly. We toured around interesting sights, and Victor was informative and charming. We travelled thruogh many places out of the normal tourist track, which I could never have managed. Everything was easy when I had Victor with me. It means I could just relax and take in Moscow. I will remember Moscow fondly because of him."

I met Victor through the web site. Since then, he has been my guide in Moscow and recently was my guide to St Petersberg.

He is a very good guide to the gay life of Moscow and St Petersberg. He knows the scene very well having lived in both cities for some time. He is very attentive to my travelling needs (culture, shopping and entertainment) and can match my requirements to what is available. Nothing seems too much of a bother for him. He ensures that I am not ripped off and charged extortionate fees. He is extremely prompt in contacting me when I need his services as a guide.

He is extremely professional and very personable. He has a big smile and is quick with a joke and a laugh. I feel very safe in his hands and trust his judgment.

As I will be in Russia for a few more months, I am looking forward to further trips outside of Moscow with Victor.

Viktor as our guide in Moscow

My partner and I booked a river cruise from Moscow to St. Petersburg in August, 2004. Although there were many tours included in our ship's itinerary, we wanted to get to know the city and it's people on a more personal level. We knew we would have about a day and a half of free time in Moscow, so about three weeks before our US departure we contacted Viktor through the site. From the outset we were really impressed with his timely responses to our numerous emails. We called him from our ship to arrange a meeting point, and then we really started to enjoy our trip on a completely different level. Viktor was excellent at finding out what we had already seen, and then tailoring our time with him to include lots of stops that we never would have experienced. He helped us buy souvenirs, and took us to great restaurants. We pestered him with lots of questions about growing up during the Soviet period and the changes brought about by the democratic reforms. He answered all our questions and really helped us to understand the challenges of life in Russia. We can't say enough about Viktor and his service, you should try it for yourself and you will see why we are so pleased to have had time to spend with him in Moscow.

Dear Reader,

In July 2004, I spend a week in Moscow and like to report about a pleasant meeting and experience with our Russian tour guide Viktor.

Viktor was a very practical help in guiding us to different places we could not have managed by ourselves. Using a boot, local busses and metro he guided us to art galleries along the Moscow river, took us to the University complex and its panoramic view over the city, showed us the Novodevichy Convent and the annex cemetery with impressive tombstones and finally we walked the Tverskay bul. We experienced Viktor is trustworthy and pleasant natured person. Good reasons to use his services, for which I like to thank him.

Amsterdam August 2004

After living in Moscow some unforgettable days at the beginning of May, I feel forced to write some words (that will not be sufficient, I know) about this fantastic guide named Viktor.

I contacted him thanks to First we communicated by e-mail and soon we discussed in Moscow what exactly I wanted to know and to do. I was surprised since the first time with this extraordinary guide: always he does everything trying to make you happy. Everything what you want, he obtains, I don't know how! Moscow it's really his territory and you'll know with his pleasant company this fascinating city. You will see through his eyes and you will feel through his heart the sublime beauty of Russia's main city. You can see how much he loves his city!

Of course, he knows everything about culture, history, gay life and places of interest in Moscow, but more important, he's a wonderful guy: he's very friendly, with a great sense of humour, his english is really good, he's sincere and honest in every sense. You can trust in him totally! And, wow! he's so strong that you will feel safe at every moment in every place with him.

This was my second time in Moscow but, to be honest, the first one was nothing compared with this. These days with Viktor were wonderful but too short and I cannot wait to repeat the experience. I like him, I miss him and I am sure that Moscow without him will not be the same. For this reason, with my sincere gratefulness, I recommend Viktor to everybody like the best guide! Vik, all the best and good luck to you for ever!!!

He showed me the nightlife of Moscow-it was awesome. He also arranged for a ticket for the Bolshoi Theatre, he saved me a lot of money. He was my "bodyguard" in Moscow and because of him I could see Moscow and gay Russian scene. I had wonderful time and will recommend him to all my friends.
